Description

Overview
The pendant, ceiling and wall luminaire family DIZCO uses a printed dot grid on safety glass to make light visible within a transparent pane. The design combines a thin glass disc and precise lighting technology to produce a distinct indirect-light effect and an optional direct downlight.

Design
Design: RIBAG Design Studio. The glass disc and the printed dot pattern produce a perceptible luminous surface within the transparent body. The luminaires are designed for integration in residential and commercial interiors where discreet, controllable lighting is required.

Dot grid
Approximately 60,000 dots are printed on EGS safety glass. The dots increase in size from the centre to the edge, making the indirect light visible as a luminous disc in the glass body.

Choice of materials and colour design
The luminaires are made of EGS safety glass and aluminium. Standard diameter is Ø 400 mm. Standard finish: white. The pendant version is additionally available in sand gold and rose gold. Special colours can be produced on request to match interior specifications.

Versatile lighting solution
DIZCO combines a pronounced indirect light component with a controlled direct component (where applicable), enabling atmospheres suitable for relaxation and focused tasks. High visual comfort and a high colour-rendering index make the range applicable to a variety of residential and commercial uses.

Lighting effect
Light reflected on the dot grid appears as accentuated indirect illumination, creating the perception of a luminous disc. In ceiling and pendant versions, the indirect ambient light is complemented by a direct downlight with a 60° beam angle to emphasise contours and material colours.
