Description

The development of glassfibre reinforced concrete was inspired by Rieder’s vision of a concrete cladding panel that is both stable and lightweight. The aesthetic panels with only 13 mm thickness in various colours, surfaces and shapes give architects plenty of scope in the design of individual facades. Glassfibre reinforced concrete is non-combustible and made of mineral-based raw materials, giving the panels their unique characteristics. The combination of sustainable products provides an economical solution for the entire building envelope. Fitting with current trends and developments, Rieder offers a range of additional processes for the creation of individual building envelopes. In collaboration with planners and architects, new textures were developed. The twine texture is Rieder’s highlight. Irregular lines playfully run across the slabs like ribbons. The combination of straight and angled, partially overlapping lines of different sizes creates an exciting visual effect on the facade. The flow of the lines harmoniously integrates into the overall picture. The different characteristics better emphasise the naturalness of the concrete material and the authentic appearance. This texture adds liveliness and depth to any facade.
