The Ava chair was inspired by the idea of mythical dragons and the design of Ming dynasty armchairs. It is a high-tech object, created using the modern technique of polycarbonate injection. It is manufactured by injection of Re-life polypropylene made of recycled industrial waste
Light and stackable, it is available in several opaque, glossy and matte shades. It was designed by Song Wen Zhong, a young Chinese designer who won the Roche Bobois Design Award based on the theme of "Nature, universal link between East and West".
This matte version is made by injecting polypropylene from recycled industrial waste; it therefore does not use any new petroleum products during the manufacturing process.
