In the event of a fire, rectangular vent ducts, conduits and trunking penetrations in fire rated walls can compromise fire performance and lead to an increased risk of the fire spreading. ROCKWOOL Oval Insulated Fire Sleeve are designed to provide an effective system for thermal and fire stopping to plastic ducting, trunking and conduits. ROCKWOOL Oval Insulated Fire Sleeve is made up of a unique combination of mineral wool insulation and graphite intumescent which will provide up to 2 hours of fire stopping to PVC ventilation ducting. ROCKWOOL Oval Insulated Fire Sleeve are available for protection to standard rectangular PVC ducting, trunking and conduits passing through fire rated walls and floors. The Oval Insulated Fire Sleeve is supplied ready to install, providing a quick and easy solution without the need for additional ancillaries.
