Lyra perfectly balances a fusion of the simplicity in Japanese style with the functionality of Scandinavian design. Crafted using recycled PET from plastic bottles, these robust rugs can withstand exposure to sunlight, rainwater and humidity whist maintaining their appearance and quality over time. Materials and technical data Main features: •Manufactured on a flat-woven Wilton loom •The main component is PET from recycled plastic bottles •Light commercial use with usage class 23, 33 (EN 1307) •DFls1 fire certification (EN 13501-1) •UV treatment incorporated into the fibers that allows indoor and outdoor use with color fastness to light >6 (ISO 105-B02) •Suitable for use with underfloor heating (TOG 0.62) •Anti-static behavior (ISO 6356) •Sustainability: Complies with standards for LEED-certified buildings (EQC 4.3) and BREEAM Total Weight Approx. ± 3,000 g/m² Installation (as wall-to-wall carpet) Main considerations: •Joins/seams: The cutting and joining of panels in flat weaves is a very delicate process that requires a lot of time and the resulting joint may have a variable appearance. The durability of joints cannot be guaranteed in installations of several panels. For this reason, we do not recommend side or header joins in our flat weave carpets. •Installation on stairs: The edge of the stair is a point of high friction, and to provide durability to the stair, it should always be installed with underlay.
