SAS produces Panot Gaudí in accordance with the original design Antoni Gaudí made in 1904.
The Panot Gaudí was initially designed by the Catalan architect for Casa Batlló, a residential building in Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona.
Finally, it could not be used in this building due to a delay in production and Gaudí decided to use the design for Casa Milà in Barcelona (La Pedrera), which he was building at the time. It is an original hexagonal design with smooth relief which displays Gaudí’s philosophy inspired by geometry and the shapes and structures found in nature. Snails, jellyfish, starfish… are easily recognizable. Currently, the Panot Gaudí paves the entire Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona.
