The Current owes its name because of two reasons: the current of the sea where most materials come from and todays zeitgeist. In a world where sustainability is the new mantra, Current feels like the right name to show contribution to the matter.
Current is part of the Satelliet Originals collection and is the first family of products made entirely of recycled materials. Current falls under the initiative SUM – Still Usable Materials. The frames of the various designs are made from recycled aluminium and recycled plastic wickerwork.
