Home automation system control module SSC-W008

The SSC-W008 is part of the Savant SmartControl family designed to wirelessly provide infrared (IR) and serial control of third party devices. The SSC-W008 simplifies retrofit installations including multi-dwelling units where wired installations may by physically and cost prohibitive. Moreover, the wireless Wi-Fi network topology eliminates the need to either remodel or rewire a residence or facility at the time of installation. The SSC-W008 is geared to meet specific control and automation needs of a single room environment. The SSC-W008 is designed to control a limited number of video players, projectors and other electronic equipment, and supports Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11). Common Applications Ideal for single-room environments with a limited number of devices such as classrooms, conference rooms, hotel rooms and other applications. SSC-W008 is perfect for small installations wirelessly controlling IR-based devices, or cost-effective expansionespecially when additional IR control ports are required. SSC-W008 can be linked to any Savant SmartSystem™ containing a host.
