Shoal is a sculptural light installation. Fine bone china fish, each carrying delicate sculpted detail, circle a central light source evoking one of nature’s most dynamic spectacles. Each fish is lit not only by reflected light from its neighbours, but also from within, with light passing through the translucent ceramic body. Since Shoal's launch in 2007, each sculpture has been made by-hand, to order, in our North Staffordshire studio, using china from the renowned Staffordshire Potteries. Shoal is available in glazed or unglazed fine bone china. Each fish is 16cm (6") long.
