A Schindler ReNew modernization focuses on the critical electrical components in the elevator, together with a new machine and updated ropes.

Controller
Energize the brain of the elevator: a new controller assures performance, safety and reliability, prepares the system for future enhancements, reduces noise and can increase security, improving comfort and peace of mind.

Drive
Upgrading the drive improves smooth operation, precision stopping accuracy, accessibility (reducing trip hazards at landings), and energy efficiency.

Fixtures
Fixtures are the primary interface between passengers and the elevator; new elevator and landing fixtures increase comfort, accessibility, and reflect improved technical quality.

Suspension system
Ropes are upgraded as part of ReNew; replacing aged ropes reduces the need for short-term repairs and improves long-term reliability.

Electrical package
Modernization includes replacement electrical peripherals and wiring: machine-room wiring, traveling cables, shaft wiring, car connection box, shaft information, and limit switches are part of the package.

Machine
