The SCHOLLGLAS solar façades for generating electricity are designed in cooperation with 3S, an international producer of building-integrated photovoltaic modules. Above all this is the individual and system free adjustements to given architectural conditions that characterize this product. These customized elements are available in glass-glass or glassplastic versions, and give satisfaction trough their capacity for harmonic integration in suspended, rear-ventilated cold façades as well as warm façades with double glazed units. Through the use of a specially developed connecting socket, positioned in the edge region of the pane joints, all modules can be elegantly and aesthetically joined appealingly – the whole power outlet is covered in the respective substructure. Additionally to the standard laminates, variations in form, colour and transparency are also available. All crystalline silicon cells available on the market can be used for this.
