Presentation SENSORY CUTTING-EDGE Natural elements regenerate public space, stimulating our senses and transforming the perception of the environment. Strengthening the relationship between the natural and architectural scale is the vocation of the Cuvi series. ORIGIN AND EVOLUTION The Cuvi series is the result of integrating the essence of nature into the urban space. Its corten steel finish connects the whole with the earth, drawing an aesthetic link with vegetal life. During the night, a forest of light is born to transform the urban scene. Its louver system reconditions the ambient lighting, creating a serene and suggestive environment where the atmosphere generated evokes both intimacy and welcome through positional arrangements. MATERIALS AND STRUCTURE The body of the Cuvi beacon is formed by a corten steel structure of cylindrical section, housing inside an LED optical module arranged bi-directionally. The final finish of the corten steel is achieved by a surface oxidation patina as a result of a controlled process of activation and chemical neutralization of the oxide. The precision of this process guarantees its protection against the corrosive action of the environment, giving the surface finish a high level of uniformity.
