A modern reinterpretation of the classic picnic table, with updated materials and finishes. Refined proportions and room for eight guests make Rambler 84 a flexible option for gathering spaces. The design consists of an all-aluminum frame topped with wide-plank wood slats to form table and bench surfaces. Designed by Shiftspace.
Meet The Rambler Family
The Rambler range of picnic tables is inspired by the classic Picnic Table format: an intimate, yet informal place where people come together. Three distinct sizes provide three unique ways of gathering. In addition, the new all-aluminum variants (Rambler 36 and 60) can be made accessible for people with disabilities. For ADA and single-bench models, note that tipping may occur if not secured properly to the ground
The Story
"Rambler was originally designed for a public park project, so it had to be resilient and more compact than standard picnic tables. We were somewhat nostalgic to the classic wooden picnic table and, as a result, Rambler nods to that form but has its own unique identity."

Hardworking Materials
The largest member of the Rambler family is offered with a solid wood top and bench seating. Slats composed of hard-wearing Ipe and Thermally Modified Ash are milled with custom profiles and supported by an aluminum frame.
