The SieMatic SLX is a handleless kitchen system defined by a reinterpreted recessed handle and an integrated lighting concept that emphasises lightness, precision and purity of form. Internationally recognised and a five-time award winner, the SLX is custom-planned for each client and offers a broad spectrum of materials, surfaces and configurations.

Design & Aesthetics
The SLX pairs minimal lines and precise bevelled edges with seemingly floating worktops. A consistent 6.5 mm proportioning characterises details from illuminated recessed handles to transparent display elements, ensuring coherent visual language across compositions.

Handle Concept
The recessed handle is a central aesthetic and ergonomic element. Key features include:

• 45° angled recessed handle with a concave, ribbed grip bar shaped for fingertip engagement.
• Ribbed grip surface to optimise hold and facilitate opening.
• Handle strips with gently integrated LED lighting, individually adjustable in colour temperature and brightness.

Materials & Surfaces
Available finishes include lacquer, veneers, ceramic and natural stone worktops. The SieMatic IndividualColorSystem offers approximately 2,050 special colours. Display cabinets may feature filigree aluminium frames and tinted glass options.

Interior & Functionality
The concept accommodates large appliances behind seamless fronts and integrates bespoke interior systems: drawers and pull-outs with dedicated organisation solutions, the Multimatic interior fitting system and integrated sockets. Floating display cabinets and suspended pull-outs reinforce the impression of lightness while providing practical storage.

Lighting & Atmosphere
Discrete light strips integrated into the handle shadow gap add depth to smooth surfaces, enhance the floating effect of counters and allow atmospheric control. Lighting is individually controllable for temperature and brightness to fine-tune mood and focal points.

Collections & Examples
The SLX is applied in style collections such as PURE, where omission and purity are emphasised: generous surfaces, invisible functional elements and intelligently minimal solutions (for example, flush-mounted basins and integrated functional units). The SLX Ceramic variant highlights ceramic surfaces and sculptural island geometries.
