The collection defines its contours through the “theory of shapes” using this shape in harmony with its functions. Its technological functions and esthetic components are used as Gestalt’s ‘means of expression’. Careful attention is paid to the rules of law between volumes, proportions, thinned thicknesses, and the authenticity of materials. All of this is proposed as the only ornament. Materials become a foundational aspect of the design process: throughout the study of content and material, it adds to the definition of “shape”, a new context for an old subject.
