Şişecam High Reflective Glass is Şişecam Flat Glass’ reflective solar control glass. Advantages Prevents solar heat transmittion into buildings, control the luminosity of sunlight, keeps inside cooler and reduces energy consumption. Offers a uniform appearance between vision and spandrel areas due to its high reflectance. Creates mirror effect from brighter direction of light. For example, it provides one way view from inside to outside during day hours and from outside to inside during night. Can be toughened, heat strengthened and bent. Lamination and enameling is also possible. Note: The coated surface should be placed facing inside (surface no 2) of the Insulating Glass Unit. Solar control glass is subjected to thermal breakage risks. In order to avoid thermal breakage risks, toughening or heat strengthening is recommended. When laminating Şişecam High Reflective Glass, all panes of the laminated glass should be either toughened or heat strengthened in order to avoid thermal breakage risks. Şişecam High Reflective Glass is Şişecam Flat Glass’ reflective solar control glass. It can be used as monolithic and also it can be incorporated into Insulating Glass Unit with clear float glass or heat control coated glass. Şişecam High Reflective Glass provides solutions for facades of medium sized commercial buildings and industrial buildings where visual integrity is required. Şişecam High Reflective Glass is manufactured by applying a silver reflective coating on one surface of the clear glass through LVC (Laminar vapor coating) process during the production of float glass.
