Nuvem Outdoor is a modular outdoor lighting and wall-decoration system by Slamp combining decorative V0 polycarbonate modules and flexible tubular silicone Light Units to create suspended or wall-mounted luminous compositions.
Designed for configurable exterior installations with on-site reconfiguration capability through removable clips and a dedicated "clipper" tool.
Concept & design
Modular concept: decorative modules interlock with clip-based fastenings to build compositions that expand freely in any direction.
Designer: Miguel Arruda.
Shape modulation: "push and pull" cable mechanism under modules enables formation of concave or convex curves in suspended surfaces.
System components
Modules: decorative elements in UL 94 V0 polycarbonate for flame resistance and suitability in lighting applications.
Light Unit: 2 m tubular silicone light element emitting 360° for uniform, immersive illumination and high flexibility within compositions.
Mechanical system: clip-based connectors with removable clips; assembly assisted by a dedicated "clipper" tool.
Accessories: spacer for wall anchoring to set distance from wall and generate depth/projection effects.
Installation & electrical
Mounting types: suspended (shapeable via push & pull) and wall-mounted (using spacer accessory).
Branching system: allows multiple Light Units to be connected to a single power point.
Cable adjustment: cables adjustable up to 6 m to adapt to different heights.
Fixing: dedicated brackets and mounting accessories ensure secure installation in outdoor conditions.
Materials & safety
Module material: UL 94 V0 polycarbonate (self-extinguishing, high flame resistance).
Light Unit material: flexible silicone tubular element designed for outdoor, waterproof applications.
Components designed for outdoor use with appropriate sealing and mounting accessories.
