Description

The sonic chair is an acoustic island where you can listen undisturbed. It is both – an eye-catcher and a design object that promises attention. After all, the sonic chair was awarded one of the world's most important design prizes, the “Red Dot Design Award”, by an internationally recognised jury of experts. It was also nominated for the “Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany”. What can a sonic chair provide? The sonic chair is a private concert hall, home cinema or workplace. But also an eye-catcher at trade fairs and other events or in your company. How does a sonic chair work? Similar to a musical instrument, the shape of the sonic chair is determined by the acoustics: Sitting in the sound center supports the spatiality of the recording. The low frequencies are transmitted to the user's back via a structure-borne sound membrane. In addition, a high-quality structure-borne sound transducer directs the tactile sound component to a sound body surrounding the listener. In this way, the person merges with the sound, which makes the effect comparable to the experience of a live concert. How is a sonic chair made? Creating the perfect sound in its most beautiful form requires a high level of precision craftsmanship. That is why every sonic chair is handcrafted in our factories in Cologne according to the customer's wishes. Up to six layers of selected wood are glued together to create a ring-shaped sound body with 32 liters of speaker volume. This structure establishes the base for a powerful, well-balanced sound. The use of state-of-the-art audio technology and attention to detail result in unique sound bodies "Made in Germany".
