Bubbles is a multicoloured area rug entirely handmade in pure wool by artisan weavers, playfully using colour as if it is made of translucent paper. This natural wool area rug is a playful and vibrant representation of bubbles blown from a wand that cluster together reflecting the surrounding colours as they float into the sky. This highly vibrant area rug is composed of round areas of blue, green, yellow, pink, purple, red and orange carefully overlapping to create subtle hue changes of violet, aqua and many others. These create the effect of transparency, luminosity and light within the solid fibres of wool. The layering effect in the composition of the rug is enhanced by the 3D effect of varying tuft heights.
