Description

Matelac Mirror is a float glass with one painted side and one acid-etched side. A sophisticated etching procedure is used to give the glass a satin finish, whilst Matelac’s coloured and opaque finish is obtained by applying a high quality paint to the back of the glass. Matelac has many interior design applications including wall covering, doors, tables, shelving units and wardrobes. Matelac mirrored versions are available in silver, bronze and grey. Primarily used for wall cladding, the acid finished mirror gives an unusual modern decorative look, as the reflective qualities of the mirror are diffused by the etching. ○ Durable appearance to protect it against damage, the back of the glass with the paint or silver coating is always positioned against the support structure. ○ Positioning it in this way also preserves the colour and appearance of the glass. ○ High-quality finishing: the manufacturing process guarantees uniform finishing, and the paint adheres flawlessly to the glass. ○ Acid-etching is favoured for its fine grain. ○ Easy to assemble and maintain. ○ Paints used are environmentally friendly.
