STERN stainless steel furniture - summer dreams for purists. For the production of STERN stainless steel furniture, we use grade 304 stainless steel, also better known as 18/10 steel. This chrome (18%)-nickel (10%) steel alloy is particularly resistant to corrosion and ensures a long service life.
Silverstar table tops consist of up to 50 layers of paper laminate, which are pressed under great heat and high pressure. This technique gives the table tops very special properties, as it is scratch-resistant, cold-resistant (20°C) and heat-resistant (180°C), UV-resistant, easy to clean and abrasion-resistant. Regardless of the variety of decors, the core is always black, which can be seen on the edge of the panel. To ensure dimensional stability, the panels must be firmly screwed to the frame.
