Info Series The series Malaga is a classic piece of furniture within the STERN collection. The teak group includes space-saving, foldable balcony furniture, as well as massive armchairs, folding armchairs and tables. These can, moreover, be complemented by a sunlounger or a bench. The natural character of teak generates a nice warm atmosphere. Info material surface Teak wood is very robust and weather-resistant and convinces with its high strength and hardness. It hardly deforms even in changing climates and is comparable to oak wood. Due to the oils stored in the teak, the wood is already well protected and has a very long life. Due to the natural variations in the wood, each product and finish may vary slightly. For our wood products we only use FSC-certified wood or wood from controlled wood sources. Teak is considered the best wood for outdoor furniture. Teak does not need to be impregnated or given any special protective treatment. STERN teak furniture is made from FSC®-certified plantation wood or comes from controlled wood sources. The high content of natural oils makes the wood particularly weather-resistant. Over time, teak acquires a distinctive, silver-gray patina. The influence of rain, heat and light can lead to small cracks. This is normal and does not affect the quality and lifespan of the furniture in any way.
