(ENV 1627 – CLASS 4) The PRÆSIDIUM® security collapsible grate for doors and windows is designed to provide a burglar-proof barrier while maintaining functionality and minimal visual impact. It is engineered for use on doors, windows and shop fronts.

Operation and locking
The grate can be fully opened and collapsed into a compact pack on one or both sides, leaving the opening completely free. It closes quickly via a patented sliding system and is secured by a special lock with three-point locking. EUROPEAN PATENT N. 557 254.

Materials and construction
Profiles are internally armour-plated with revolving rods in galvanised steel to resist cutting and forced entry. Horizontal levers are made of carbon-nitride steel (cut-resistant), galvanised and polyester powder coated for corrosion resistance (certified). Levers and bars are connected by shaped metal links that are stain-proof. Reduced frame depth allows installation alongside other frame types such as shutters. Due to the small pack size, the grate can be fully retracted into a compact built-in box within the wall.
