Fact: cork floors are comfortable, natural, ecological, hygienic, durable and easy to maintain.
In recent years, construction professionals have increasingly used cork in order to take advantage of its exceptional characteristics: cork floors are shock absorbent and will retain their original shape when exposed to normal compression. In addition, they reduce noise due to the natural absorption capacity of cork.
SUPRA's cork floors are available in 3 different types:
GLUE DOWN: these floors are meant to be glued down (using an adequate adhesive) to the subfloor. The subfloor must be level and waterproofed, prior to the installation.
PEEL & GO: these floors are also glued down to the subfloor, which must be level and waterproofed. But you do not need to buy the glue separately, since 'Peel & Go' has an extra strong self-adhesive backing. You just need to remove the protection layer and glue the tiles to the subfloor.
PEEL & GO: these floors have an intermediate layer of HDF, and the edges are milled to a profile that allows the mechanical interlocking of the panels. The panels are applied directly to the floor, without being glued.
