Product description
The ALD acoustic louvre reduces airborne noise originating from plant rooms, fans and machinery. Sound is attenuated as it passes through absorbent baffle vanes filled with sound-attenuating material, providing effective exterior noise control.

Design
Sound attenuation is achieved by aerodynamically profiled, sound-absorbing baffle vanes arranged within the grille. The design provides efficient airflow while reducing transmitted noise from mechanical equipment.

Material and surface treatment
The ALD is supplied in galvanised sheet steel (Corrosivity class C3) or aluminium (Corrosivity class C4). The acoustic baffle vanes are filled with ISOVER Cleantec® PLUS. Surface treatment with paint is available where corrosion protection is required.

Installation, commissioning and maintenance
The grille is supplied as standard without installation accessories. Common installation methods include:

• Screws through the end walls of the grille
• External flange mounting
• Internal flange mounting (the double model is supplied as two single grilles for on-site assembly)
