The 500-T aquatic therapy pool is identical to the 500-OT pool model except it is manufactured in four pieces of superior fiberglass pool construction instead of one. This allows you the ability to move the pool into existing and/or tight spaces. The 500-T therapy pool is shipped in pieces and assembled on-site. The SwimEx 500-T is a multi-depth pool, adjustable to depths of 38 inches and 50 inches (96.5cm and 127cm). The pool features eight distinct workout/rehab stations including plyometric pads, open and closed kinetic exercise benches and steps, and an angled running platform. The treadmill simulator (40 degree angled pad) allows the rehab patient to begin running in a limited weight-bearing environment and the adjustable floor allows the therapist to gradually increase weight-bearing activities to allow a smooth transition to land. The 500-T rehab pool circulates up to 30,000 gallons of laminar water flow per minute (113,562 lpm) - creating a wall of water that generates over 40 water speeds. The patented SwimEx water current creates an ideal environment for strength training and functional activities during all phases of the rehabilitation program. Increased versatility is available with the optional SPT Underwater Treadmill or other water exercise equipment. The 500-T can also be used as a swimming-in-place pool.
