The 2U is a versatile profile system consisting of an aluminium extrusion profile complete with a satin diffuser. The polycarbonate diffuser is optimised for general lighting and ensures high efficiency and a continuous light line without unwanted dark zones. The diffuser is available in two versions: W diffuser means that the polycarbonate protrudes 10 mm from the downlight section of the profile, in the H version the diffuser is flush with the underside of the profile. With the 2U Recessed you have the choice between H and S diffusers where the H version is recessed and the S version is flush with the profile. The 2U profile system can be used in combination with a LED strip or the powerful T5 replacement LED system. The latter option is also Zhaga compatible so that the LED system will remain available in the future regardless of the brand. The electronic driver is already integrated in the profile so the 2U profile can be connected directly to mains voltage. It is also possible to combine the LED strip or LED system with LED downlights. In this way, the same profile can be used as general, task and mood lighting. The 2U is 40 mm wide and is made to measure so that you can always obtain sufficient light at the intended location. The profile system can be recessed or surface mounted and by means of suspension sets, the profile can also be suspended.
