The Tangent Hifi II system consists of the second generation of the award winning Tangent Ampster which is teamet up with the new Tuner II and CD II. The three share design and remote control making it a perfect compact stereo with CD, FM/DAB+ Tuner, Bluetooth, USB Charge and Sub out options. Although the Ampster BT II is one of the smallest amplifiers on the market it packs a punch in terms of power and functionality. You can effortlessly stream your music from your smartphone or tablet thanks to the latest Bluetooth wireless technology. There’s also the possibility of auto-wake up on Bluetooth or from wifi devices connected to the AUX input, such as Cromecast Audio and Airport Express making it perfect for multiroom applications. Digital and analogue line inputs, a sub-output and USB charging port for your smartphone/tablet are also provided. Tangent’s Tuner II is a premium radio providing easy and reliable access to many local and national radio stations thanks to its latest technology multi-band tuner. The FM analogue part of the tuner features RDS and is both clear and refined, whilst the digital DAB and DAB + tuners offer fast, locked-in reception of all available DAB + channels with stunning clarity. The Tuner comes with a discrete antenna wire which is detachable so you an choose to connect an external antenna. The CD II plays an integral role when connected to the new Ampster II amp. Due to its multi-format digital disk drive the CD II is compatible with all current CD formats including home-made MP3 files.
