Operation Starch separators work by settling. Water charged starch fed through inlet sleeve (1). This effluent is immediately sprayed with the spray nozzle (2). Starches have the peculiarity to produce foams. It is therefore necessary to fold so as not to saturate the unit and prevent them back through the pipes. The opening of the coolant must be slaved to the operation of the peeling machine via an electro valve.
