The PC-CAD system TAPPS (Technische Alternative Planning and Programming System) allows the creation of a logic circuit and its parameterization. The required drawing elements (function modules, inputs and outputs, etc.) are dragged from a comprehensive library and placed in the design field. This library contains hydraulic symbols to create plans, symbolism for inputs and outputs, Function symbols for the regular technical requirements and Symbols for data transfer over the network. When Symbols are moved, all lines are moved too automatically. The software also allows you to create your own symbols, which coud be added to the libary. The created configuration can be converted in a dataformat, which could be transfered to the controller by using the Bootloader and the Memory Manager. So that the expert could programm his individual controller for his plant.
