Overview

Tensar SierraScape® is a wire-basket, mechanically-connected reinforced-soil retaining wall system designed to address a wide range of project and site conditions. The system combines galvanised wire-formed baskets with Tensar uniaxial (RE500) geogrids and a compact set of components to enable fast installation, settlement tolerance and load resistance.

Technical specifications

  • Mechanical connection: proprietary connection between wire baskets and geogrid to enhance performance under settlement and seismic conditions.
  • Installation: stacked welded wire-forms compatible with general embankment fills or on-site soils; minimal specialised labour or equipment required.
