As a market leader in commercial and domestic renewable solutions, Mitsubishi Electric is a pioneer in the development of renewable heat pump technology. Heat pump technology has been used around the world for decades and Mitsubishi Electric have developed this technology to produce Ecodan - one of the most advanced, efficient heating systems available today. The Ecodan heat pump range is suitable for small to large applications, be that domestic or commercial. At the heart of Ecodan is a modern, inverter-driven heat pump compressor which converts free energy from the air and upgrades it to higher temperatures suitable for heating. The inverter control regulates the system so that heat output modulates to match the exact capacity required, meaning the boiler will only consume the exact energy needed at any given time and thus increase efficiency further. Power inverter (4 - 16 kW) The Power Inverter outdoor units provide a robust partner technology for the indoor units. Constructed for hard and continuous operation down to -20 °C, they reliably take over the heat supply of complete housing units. The compact units are easy to mount and make unobtrusive installation possible e.g. on the facade of a building. The performance adjustment is achieved via the most modern inverter regulated technology in order to optimally adjust the system to current heating requirements. Seven performance sizes from 4,1 to 19,2 kW at A2/W35 cover a wide range of applications. Due to their performance, the outdoor units with Power Inverter-technology are especially suited for use in bivalent systems.
