This wide fire surround is made from limestone composite. The big advantage of this is that it is many times stronger than normal limestone which minimizes the risk of cracking or breaking off corners. What is more, the material is impregnated which makes it easy to clean and gives moisture and dirt little chance of penetrating the stone. The Castello is available in a neutral cream colour (see photo) or as a nostalgic version that has been worked in such a way that an antique look has been created. The Castello is supplied complete with a floor plate and raised foot. Templates are supplied for adjusting the width to the fireplace if necessary.
