Thermotec electric heaters with fireclay core The Technology The centerpiece of our AeroFlow® panel storage heating system is the specially developed internal fireclay stone. The heating elements are integrated into this stone. In contrast to conventional electric heaters, it is not the outer steel casing that heats up, but the stone itself. Heat is directly emitted into the room via the fins located above the fireclay stone. This allows the heater to draw in cold air from below, warm it, and then release it back into the room from above – this is referred to as convection heat. Once the desired room temperature set by you via the thermostat is reached, the heater switches off. However, the fireclay stone continues to emit heat without consuming electricity. Our system thus provides direct radiant heat, convection, and heat emission without requiring a constant power supply.
