Brought into the house from the street. It belongs to Berlins appearance as much as the Brandenburg Gate: Since 1951, the lamp with its gas top luminaire and the historical designation “BAMAG U 7” has been illuminating streets, bridges and squares at night. In the 1970's, Berlin street lighting began to be converted from gas to electricity operation - the original model was technically converted accordingly, but retained its shape. Inspired by the original shape, we redesigned a lamp for indoor establishments. The BAMAG lamp corresponds to the historical model and is produced in the same Berlin company that made and still makes the original model. Just like the original, made of aluminium but with a natural finish and equipped with a textile cable, available in iron, read or black it now illuminates interiors with style and atmosphere.
