Made of leather and steel the Berlin chair is a collaboration of British craftsmanship. Two ancient materials have been hand worked together to create an innovative piece of modern day design. The frame is water cut in 12mm plate steel and the seat is made from oak-bark tanned leather - a fourteen month long vegetable treatment process. The leather is finished by hand, and then meticulously hand-stitched. There are over one thousand stitches in each chair, providing a durable and secure construction and wonderful detailing.
