The maximum size of the glass panels depends on different factors such as access to the designed space, the thickness of the glass that is used and the size of the fixing elements. Types of Glass Transparent Design can delivered glass for the single-point fixing balustrade system out of laminated and tempered glass, that complies with all safety building requirements and can be provided in a wide range of colours and finishes: •Clear float glass •Ultra-clear glass •Coloured glass bronze/ grey/ dark-grey •Sandblasted glass (MATELUX) or laminated with a matte interlayer Structure and fixings The balustrade plan must include the appropriate number of single-point fixings and their size to ensure maximum comfort and safety. The clamps are usually made of satin stainless steel, but other materials can be used, depending on the budget. The panels can be floor mounted or side mounted, with a minimum distance of 300 mm between the clamps. A stainless steel or wooden handrail can be used.
