These semi-transparent glass mosaic tesserae are coloured in fusion, then enriched with sparkling enamels and aventurina stone. Separate mixing achieves the classic veining effect on the surface. Aventurina is an artificial stone produced by the fusion, at approx. 1200° C, of silica sand, copper and colour components. From the seventeenth century this process realized previously unknown effects in the realization of colour, producing an adventure in design or "aventurina". · Format size 2 x 2 and 1 x 1 cm. · Thickness ~ 4 mm. · Weaving, flared and chamfered tesserae are available in sheets of 31.6 x 31.6 cm. · Joint ~ 1 mm. Tiles are pre-mounted on TREND PLUS.
