Two heating levels (1,000 watts, 2,000 watts) that can be selected on the device or via remote control always supply the right amount of warmth – without any pre-heating time, disturbing noises or even unpleasant odours as are known from other heating solutions. The electrical radiant heat is generated by a high-quality infrared tube with a durable carbon fibre wire. With an average lifetime of up to 10,000 lighting hours, the IRS 2010 E heats far more economically than conventional gas radiant heaters with a comparable heat output.
