Essence is a family of wood furnishings designed by Norm Architects that highlights the materiality and craftsmanship of veneered wood; the range includes tables, benches, coffee tables and storage furniture and is presented as modern dining and living solutions 100% Made in Italy. The collection is characterised by a sober, linear aesthetic where the joinery detail — a precise perpendicular interlocking system — becomes the distinctive and tactile element of the family.

Design concept
The interlocking design of table, bench and stool defines the collection: functional products made unique by precise perpendicular intersecting lines and visible joinery. The collection reads as linear and restrained at first glance but reveals its uniqueness up close through the beauty of its joinery and finishes.

Ingenuity and integrated functionality
The range includes electrified table options with integrated cable pathways: power modules and cables are housed inside the steel table structure and concealed by removable power covers, keeping the appearance clean while providing practical access for cabling and power.
