Overview

Essence is a family of veneered wood furnishings designed by Norm Architects for True Design. The collection includes tables, benches, coffee tables and storage units that reveal the natural character of wood through precise interlocking joinery and perpendicular intersecting lines. It is suitable for both residential and contract interiors.

Design concept and materials

The design emphasises structural clarity: veneered plywood construction, visible interlocking joints and orthogonal intersections create the collection's distinctive appearance. Finishes and details are conceived to highlight the constructive logic of each piece while maintaining a sober, linear aesthetic.
