Description
Terre Bathroom, designed by Sebastian Herkner, is an electric towel rail that transforms the radiator into a sculptural bathroom element by combining the tactile presence of extruded terracotta with modern electric heating. The glazed surface exhibits slight variations and micro-porosity, making each unit visually unique and suitable for specification in design-led projects.

Materials & finish
The visible heating body is extruded glazed terracotta produced from Impruneta clay. Internally the core is made of recycled and recyclable aluminium developed by Tubes. Available glazes: Vitreous White, Bark Brown, Mineral Grey, Ocean Blue, and a transparent finish that reveals the natural terracotta tone.

Heating & performance
Electric operation with a 220/240V heating element and integrated safety thermostat. The system is designed to maintain a stable surface temperature while optimising energy use; suitable for typical bathroom electrical installations.

Towel rail & accessories
Equipped with a brass towel rail that can be finished in any of the 140 colours from the Tubes colour chart and multiple galvanic finishes to coordinate with bathroom fittings. Hooks are provided on both sides for added functionality. Optional shelf finishes: White Carrara marble, Black Marquina marble, or matt painted MDF, providing a practical surface for accessories.

Design identity
Terre Bathroom emphasises material authenticity: the extruded terracotta surface and its intentional imperfections create a warm, tactile aesthetic that distinguishes it from conventional metal radiators and supports contemporary bathroom design narratives.
