Betonspan is suitable for use in humid conditions, service class 2, mainly as concrete formwork. Betonspan is made from 100% circular wood: up to 85% postconsumer wood, supplemented by wood from waste flows from the wood industry, sustainable forestry or verge management. Applications Concrete formwork Available sizes 2500x1250mm 2070x5310 mm Moisture-resistant board with smooth protection finish for re-usable concrete formwork Betonspan is an MUF-glued, high-density chipboard. The boards have a vapour-proof protection finish on both sides. Betonspan only undergoes minimal expansion and swelling under the influence of high atmospheric humidity. Characteristics Product class P3 Moisture resistant Re-useable Applications When used with suitable dismantling oil, Betonspan is an ideal concrete formwork board for repeated use. To prevent bending, appropriate support for the board is recommended. Avoid the side edges coming into direct contact with water and always use appropriate tools when sawing, milling or drilling. Betonspan is not suitable for permanent installation in service class 3 environments.
