A refrigerant split, renewable technology heating solution
Enhances the freely available heat from the outside air to heat your home, which could reduce your fuel bills and carbon footprint
Up to seven years parts and labour warranties, when installed by a renewable partner
Uses a refrigerant split system with an indoor and outdoor unit connected with refrigerant pipe work
aroTHERM Split air source heat pumps generate heat for your home using energy from the air outside.
aroTHERM Split consists of two modules, an indoor wall-mounted unit and an outdoor unit
The outdoor unit can be discreetly installed, wall-mounted or floor-standing, depending on the household’s outdoor space it can even be installed up to 15m away from your property
The wall-hung indoor module has a similar footprint to a standard combi boiler which can be easily installed in various places around the home
Heat pump outputs are sized for the heating requirement of the individual property which is why they have smaller outputs than combi boilers (which focus on hot water heating)
To get the best performance out of your heat pump, a system approach is required to ensure that all elements of your heating system work in harmony. Your Vaillant Advance Renewables Partner can carry out a full heat loss calculation to work out which heating system is the best fit for you and your home
Converting your home to use an air-to-water heat pump system will take around 3 to 5 days
The aroTHERM Split is Certified by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), a national quality assurance scheme that recognises high standards in renewable energy technologies
