Description
England we created it inspired by the “original” 17th-century English chesterfield sofa, paying homage to this piece of UK-made upholstery history.
The major difference from the “standard” chester lies in the front of the armrest finished without beading and surrounded by hand-wrought brass nails in the old British tradition.
We also wanted to add a touch of originality by fitting special wooden feet, going against the traditional onion foot that we see in all used chester sofas that come from the UK. The onion foot can be mounted upon request.
