Description

Inspired by Chinese Famille Verte porcelain from the Qing dynasty, the hand-painted patterns are intricately painted in a subtle palette. Taken from nature the designs are positioned delicately around the octagonal form. Craftsmanship & Materials This Famille Verte table lamp is produced in an underglazed hand-decorated porcelain. Underglaze is a method of decorating ceramic where the pattern is applied to the surface before it is then glazed. This ensures the decoration remains completely durable and the surface of the ceramic has a uniform finish.
