Venis took Marquina marble as its source of inspiration: a dark-coloured recrystallized limestone rock mainly quarried in the province of Vizcaya in Spain. This compact metamorphic fine-grained rock stands out for its white veined pattern, where the remains of fossils can be seen, bringing character to all surfaces where it is used.
These large-format wall and floor tiles presented by Venis last September at Cersaie in Bologna are perfect for all settings, including bathrooms, dining rooms, hallways or even terraces. The floor tiles come in a 59.6x59.6cm or 80x80cm format, with the second being particularly suitable for large surface areas, where it guarantees an added sense of spaciousness.
The wall tiles come in a 33.3x100cm format, accompanied by two décors: Deco Lines Magma and Deco Infinito Magma. The former is decorated with narrow closely set parallel lines, as opposed to the latter’s thicker lines. In both cases, they can be used as distinctive features to draw attention to certain areas of a room.
