Designed by architect Massimo Brignoni, the WOM chandelier is a brilliant testimony to the fusion of innovation and artistic evolution and emerges as a symbol of contemporary elegance and technological wonder.
The design of the WOM chandelier has an inverted step pyramid shape (cascading pyramid), an architectural feat composed of two or three special concentric levels, depending on the version. Made of durable stainless steel, the chandelier's sturdy yet elegant structure contains Murano glass modules attached by steel rods and chrome-plated spheres. These modules are composed of three circular elements (discs) fused together in art glass. Each disc has a diameter of 14 cm (5½"), and three together culminate in a module with a diameter of 25 cm (9¾"), with double holes for assembly and attachment. Available in a wide color palette, these elements offer more than 15,000 customizable color combinations. From crystal, ivory and black to vibrant shades of green, blue, yellow, red, purple, gray and more, these clear glass modules create a symphony of colors. In addition to these classic colors, clear glass can be combined with striated and aventurine glass.
The customization of WOM extends beyond color, both in the shape of the modules and in the composition of the design. In fact, the modules can have other shapes in addition to the circular element, and the range of designs allows for numerous composition possibilities, such as repeating layouts, diagonal, rotating, vertical, horizontal, and mirror image, each of which produces distinct color effects.
