Why doors freeze?
A regular metal door, wether it's insulated or not, will freeze. It doesn't matter how much insulation implemented and how thick is a metal sheet. A metal door is constructed with a closed metal profile (a hollow metal profile with closed cross section). Stainless steel has a high thermal conductivity. Freezing happens fast.
To avoid freezing, VilleDoors implements metal profiles with "thermorupture". A piece of material with low thermal conductivity divides interior and exterior parts of the door.
Sample of a bad insulated door. Condensate, or as a result, frost is formed on the warmer, interior side. It's a natural physical process, when there is a big difference in temperature inside and outside, supported by humidity and cold metal surface in a warm invironment.
