Overview
VOLA presents the KV5 kitchen tap: a single, modular tap delivering five distinct water types — boiling water, filtered cold water, chilled still water, chilled sparkling water, and a conventional hot/cold mixer. The KV5 follows VOLA’s timeless Danish design and is engineered for long service life.

Operation
The KV5 separates functions across two handles for safe, intuitive use. The right-hand handle selects and dispenses four water types; the left-hand handle acts as a traditional hot/cold mixer.

Right-hand handle — detailed actions

• Boiling water (red LED): turn handle left, press down, release, press again and hold to dispense; release to stop.
• Filtered cold water (white LED): handle forward; press once to start, press again to stop.
• Chilled still water (blue LED): turn 30° right; press to start, press again to stop.
• Chilled sparkling water (green LED): turn 60° right; press to start, press again to stop.

Technology
All technical components are integrated in a compact under-counter unit that houses filtration, chilling and carbonation modules. The CO₂ cylinder is replaceable and accessible; an accompanying app provides filter-replacement alerts and basic system status. Technical systems are developed in partnership with a Swiss supplier.

Materials, finishes and manufacture
The KV5 is manufactured in Denmark from solid brass and stainless steel. Finish options include 15 colours, several metallic finishes and an Exclusive Colour Series; each configuration is hand-painted at VOLA’s factory and spare parts are available for long-term serviceability.

Design and heritage
KV5 follows VOLA’s design language established in 1968, emphasising balanced proportions, clear spacing between spout and handles and a modular approach that simplifies installation and maintenance.
